This high-level course is aimed at students who are curious, creative, attracted to the field of digital technology and Enterprise 4.0, and enjoy developing their scientific reasoning, language and management skills through experimentation.
To become a general or specialist engineer, a strong interest in science is essential.
- 90% of places are allocated to students with a general baccalaureate with scientific options.
- 10% of places are allocated to students with a baccalaureate in “industrial science and technology and sustainable development” (STI2D) or “laboratory science and technology”
(STL).
Recommendation of options for the general baccalaureate
We recommend that you choose “Mathematics” as your special field in Year 12 (11th Grade), and we strongly suggest you maintain it in Year 13 (12th Grade). As for your 2nd special field, it should be preferably scientific, but this time you get to choose between: “Physics & Chemistry”, “Engineering Science”, “Digital Technology & Computer Science” or “Biology & Earth Sciences”. You are free to choose your 3rd special field in Year 12 (11th Grade) as it will not affect our selection. In Year 13 (12th Grade), taking the optional courses “Expert Mathematics” or “Complementary Mathematics” will be a bonus to your profile. This selection will allow you to enter the Preparatory Course in Mathematics and Digital Technology with sound basic knowledge. However, we do study all applications, and motivation remains the most important criterion as far as our school is concerned.
