The university

The Rhein-Waal University in Kleve is both young and dynamic. Since its recent foundation it has remained closely linked to the industrial world, and is proud of its international outlook. Student life is punctuated by various cultural evening events, as well as numerous sports and leisure activities.

Why Kleve?

Kleve, just a few kilometres from the Dutch border, is a charming German town of 50,000 inhabitants. Known for its history during the Second World War, the city has since been modernised while retaining its strong cultural heritage. The university, located just a stone’s throw from the heart of the city, is the ideal place to live.
